🔧Work Performed
11.13.2025
The defective calf support assembly was removed and replaced with a new OEM Hill-Rom Calf Support Kit (Part #: 167970S). Mounting hardware was inspected and re-secured to manufacturer specifications. After installation, full functional testing was performed, including:
Locking/holding tension verification
Height and angle adjustment
Load-bearing test
The stirrup now holds properly under load, and all functions performed within manufacturer specifications. Unit was returned to service.
🔍Technician Findings
11.13.2025
Upon evaluation of the reported issue, the right/left stirrup (calf support) was unable to remain in the proper support position. The assembly showed signs of internal wear and loss of holding tension, preventing it from maintaining load when in use. No additional mechanical damage was observed on the bed frame or mounting bracket. Root cause determined to be a worn calf support assembly.
⚠️Problem Description
Requested by Daniel Clark: 11.11.2025 Stirrup will not hold up. Eval needed to determine root-cause
