🔧Work Performed
Tech was taken to room 6 first and shown the foot pedal, nurse stated that the screw has been coming out every so often. Tech checked the foot pedal and found that the screw on the base, there is a plastic piece that is broke, photo included. Tech did get the chair to go up and down, but there is no screw holding the foot pedal together. Tech showed the nurse and told her that a new foot pedal needs to be ordered, she agreed. Tech was than taken to room 18 and tech found the chair in the full upright position. Tech tried to use the foot pedal but nothing would happen. Tech checked to make sure the foot pedal was plugged in, tech found it loose, so tech was getting ready to put it back on and noticed that some of the pins were bent. Tech tried to straighten it back but tech was afraid the pins would break off, photo included. Tech showed the nurse and tech said it needs a new retract cord, since the rest of the buttons will work. Nurse agreed and said to order both for both chairs. Tech did get the chair down to the ground in using the chair controls on the foot section. Nurse approved the parts and the second trip. Update 9/25/2025 - Tech arrived on site and was handed the parts that were ordered. Tech installed the parts on both chairs and tech function tested both chairs. After function testing the chairs, the tech had a nurse come back to function test both chairs, she was happy that both chairs were working again.
