🔧 Work Performed
On the X1, I removed the broken safety bail spring and installed a new spring. I then removed the rusty spring and installed a new spring. I put the safety bail assembly back together. I then removed the lower slide bars and removed the worn and dirty bearings. I then installed two new lower bearing and put the slide bars back into place. I then removed the upper slide bars and removed the rusty bearings. I instilled two new linear bearings. I reassembled the cot. I function tested the cot and all passed. I returned the cot to service.
🔍 Technician Findings
On the X1, I arrived and found that the patient left safety bail spring was broken and the right safety bail spring was rusty. I then found that the cot was skipping and the bearing were needing to be replaced.
