11-10-25 Veterans Day arrived and met Ask, jobsite engineer, and he showed us room. Went back downstairs and carried tools and materials inside. Laid out room using lasers. Took down old systems steel. Installed our steel and drops in ceiling. Called it a night due to getting tired. Before leaving Ash informed us we can NOT work on Tues due to being veterans day.
11-11-25 CAbles informed Will at Guldann about Veterans day and he said sorry his fault, just didn't think about it. He is aware. Informed Nicole of change order.
11-12-25 CAbles returned and completed laterals, seismic requirements and installed rails. Returned ladder I purchased and cleaned up site. Once completed I told GC we need a access door installed in ceiling so that future maintenance can get to charger. He told me they couldnt do it due to the asbestos in ceiling. I asked why didnt you inform me of this before I started and he said it was posted outside the door. I looked and nom documents stated asbestos was in use. Found only air quality report. I informed him that was wrong to do and told him if I had known I would have had the option of at least getting a respirator or refusing to do work. He just shrugged his shoulders. That is why this is in this report. Blatant safety issues with D Square construction.
