12/12 - JArmas - I was able to fix flow meter, I did not see at the time a part had been ordered, but customer was satisfied with repair and said she would keep the part for another time. She also informed me the the Vaporizer is leaking, I was not able to stop the leak and told them it would need to be replaced, they need manager approval, manager is not in today they will call back Monday, unable to close for now.

🔧 Work Performed
When pressing on the bottom edge of the flowmeter’s plastic shield, the float inside the inner flow tube moves upward abruptly. Upon opening the flowmeter valve, the oxygen pressure fails to hold and gradually decreases, accompanied by an audible hissing sound from the flowmeter area. Performed a pressure leak test using the flowmeter to monitor the leak rate. The flowmeter was adjusted to stabilize system pressure at 30 cm H₂O, with the control valve opened between 0.1 and 0.2 L/min. According to Midmark anesthesia machine specifications, a leak rate between 0.1 and 0.3 L/min is considered passing. The unit passed the pressure leak test; however, the flowmeter is confirmed to be leaking and requires replacement. The part number for the Flowmeter is 91805081 and it can be ordered from Midmark at 1-844-856-1232. 12/12/25 - JArmas, inspected unit before replacing part found flow meter was loose, i was able to tighten meter and customer said they would keep the part for another time. Customer also stated there vaporizer is also leaking, they need the manager to approve part order, she is not in today, they will call me back Monday.
🔍 Technician Findings
Met with customer (Lindsey), who directed me to the anesthesia unit experiencing an air leak. The unit is a Midmark Anesthesia Machine, Model #91800081, Serial #V2423339, Asset #13128433. Observed that the flowmeter’s plastic shield is not properly seated and has been temporarily secured with tape.
