🔧 Work Performed
Evaluation- Unit works intermittently Checked for binding leg bearings- leg bearings are okay. Checked battery voltage- battery voltage good. Swapped to another battery- battery good but no cot operation. Drains battery quickly Opened up covers to see battery connection and pc board connection Found burnt wiring. Wires going from battery connection to pc board burnt and melted. I was provided a new battery connection/connector Melted connectors are both on battery connector side and pc board side. Pc board is ruined I inspected for root cause of burn. No clear indicators. Assessment: wires rubbed each other and caused an arc via vibration or the batteries are an issue. Customer uses aftermarket batteries 1/5/26 Unit disassembled Computer board replaced Old battery terminal removed Battery terminal installed Unit cycle tested
