🔧Work Performed

Repaired the flowmeter control valve by reseating and securing the knob on the valve shaft, restoring proper operation. Performed a pressure leak test and confirmed the unit holds pressure with no leaks. Investigated customer concern regarding patient difficulty exhaling; found play in the APL (pop-off) valve knob and tightened the screw, confirmed valve opens and closes as expected. Consulted EMSAR L2 support, who suspect internal wear to the APL valve affecting proper gas elimination and recommended replacement.
Note: Mounted working unit back on and tested for proper operation, verified there are no leaks present.

Replaced the APL valve and performed a low-pressure leak test. The unit passed with no signs of leaks. Per customer request, the unit was left mounted for testing. Informed the customer that vaporizer testing is not performed.

Vetland - Landmark Asset #: 12945085 SN: 85910
Arrived on site and was directed to the anesthesia unit reported as not functioning. The unit was not mounted and was missing the CO₂ absorber canister. Retrieved a canister from another unit and mounted the machine to perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting. Customer reported that the flowmeter remains open even when the control valve is fully closed. Customer also noted that the patient was unable to properly exhale and eliminate anesthetic gases and CO₂ through the breathing circuit.

The customer provided the part that was shipped by us. Mounted the anesthesia machine onto the dental exam table arm to perform the repair.
