spoke with Jonathan and I gave him the WO# and told him a coordinator will call him to schedule the visit

🔧 Work Performed
Tech was taken to where the autoclave was, tech was then shown the Steam Safe Test Strips and that 2 of the test strips have failed in the past 2 months. Tech was told that the customer cleans and maintains the autoclave on a weekly and monthly basis. Tech started by checking the door seal and reseating it to the door. Tech then made sure that the filter were clean in the inside of chamber. All of that was good. Tech removed the side panel and made sure everything was connected, which they were. Tech then ran an unwrapped cycle, cycle ran with no error codes. Tech then had customer place an test kit in the chamber and run a pouches cycle. During the cycle tech observed the temp get to 272 degrees and the pressure got up to 30.1 PSI. After pouches cycle was complete, tech had no error codes. During both unwrapped and pouches cycles, tech had no air, water, or steam leaks. Tech had the charge nurse remove the test pack and she opened it and found, the test strip test bad. Tech did some research on Midmark's website and it said that the test strips might be bad. Tech told the customer and she said I could close out the ticket and she was going to try different test strips, and if the problem continues she would call us back out.
