Repaired Agilent HPLC Pump.
🔍Technician Findings
Performed pump maintenance per PM SO 6008127498. Subsequent pump leak-rate test failed on the primary chamber. During troubleshooting, inspected the sapphire plungers and found visible scuffing consistent with wear; replaced both plungers along with the pump seals, wash seals, and wash seal gaskets.
Leak-rate test still failed on the primary chamber. Replaced the Active Inlet Valve (AIV) and AIV cartridge. Pump leak-rate test then passed.
Performed system pressure test at the pump outlet at 600 bar to confirm no external leaks. See attached test results. All replaced parts were like-for-like.
