🔧Work Performed
On the 6506, I removed the legs and replaced the 16 half shells and the two broken carrier bearings. I then removed the sensor housings and replaced the crest-to-crest springs, slider, and slider magnets. I then replaced the Left and right slider housings. I then removed the leaking hose and installed a new 3/8 hose. I then installed a new backrest piston and safety bail. I installed three new zip ties. I replaced the left and right steer corner covers. I function-tested the unit and all passed. I returned the cot to the service. NO TRAVEL CHARGED.
🔍Technician Findings
On the 6506, I arrived and found that the cot was struggling to raise. The bearings were worn. The slider and slider magnet were damaged, and the crest-to-crest springs were broken. The left and right Slider housings were grooved and needing to be replaced. I then discovered that the large hose was leaking, the safety bail was worn, and the backrest piston was spongy. The zip ties for the steer cable were missing. I found that the two lower carrier bearings on the load end were cracked. the left and right steer covers were ripped.
